womens rights
It is a hard thing to identify yourself a feminist these days. There are so many myths and judgments that come into play when you say that you are feminists. It is something you should be proud of; you are standing up for a society of women and voicing what we all should be saying. I have a hard time identifying myself as feminist. When I first starting reading about the feminists I said I am definitely not one of them women, but after you continue on and think about what they are fighting for it changes your thought process. I definitely think it has been very different being a feminist now than it was in the 1800’s or so on. They made our equal rights for us. They fought for our rights. Now days I think that the situations are much different and much more minimal than the years past. We have many of the rights men do we just don’t get treated exactly the same. It’s crazy that so long ago women sat outside the white house and fought for our rights and now look at the world. Things have drastically changed over the years. Before women stayed home and now women work but for not the same but close pay in most jobs. Some women are lawyers and doctors. Before women couldn’t vote and now women are in congress. Women have come far and because so many women ran their lives to fight for what they believed in. It should make you proud to be women.
